MY ANSWERS

Breakfast What is your weather? This morning it was 28°! Many of the fruit blossoms froze! Where is spring?!!!

Lunch ?What did you dream about recently? I dreamt that I had a dog. When I woke up I really thought I did. It seemed so real! I think it's a sign! =)

Dinner What is the last party you went to? Tonight. I went to a surprise party for my friend Marilyn who turned 40 today.

Midnight Snack What was the hardest thing you did this week? I ran 11 1/2 miles this morning and had issues with my IT bands. My left knee gave out on me twice, but I had to finish the run. It was a training run for the half marathon I am running in a few weeks.

Recipe of the Week (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?) Stay positive even when it appears there is no hope. Positive thoughts give off good energy and help to create what you want and need.

FRIDAY 5: TEEVEE

****************************
1.What are your thoughts on late-night television talk shows? I personally like them but my husband does not and so I only watch them if he is not home.

2.What television program is so bad you can’t believe anyone watches it? Gosh where do I begin? I'd say most of the current sitcoms are that way.

3.In what way have your television-viewing habits changed over the years? I just don't watch TV much anymore. If I do, I enjoy old movies or TLC or something educational or interesting like Hoarders. I also love the oldies like I Love Lucy and My Three Sons. I really could not tell you anything about any of the regular shows on now. I just do not watch them. The only one I do watch is Dancing With the Stars when I remember. If the TV is on around here it's usually on some sports game or The Office.

4.If you were in charge of the universe, what changes might you make to television? Clean it up! Get rid of all the sex and other things that make the youth think all of that is just normal.

5. What is most likely the very next thing you will be watching on television? The Royal Wedding. I plan on getting up at 4 a.m to watch it live! I did the same thing when Princess Diana got married.

Crepes and Craftin' 94/7!

Yes that is supposed to say "94-7". Kathy was so enthusiastic about crafting that she accidently slipped that out once and it stuck!

My friend Kathy sells Stampin' Up and so once a month we gather at her house and she teaches us a new technique. We take turns hostessing the party but we are all really there for each other's company, not really the crafts.

This month we learned to make cards out of soot. Yes, I said soot. In order to get soot, you must first have fire. Luckily we didn't burn down her house, though it was close!

Robin's was in flames and she didn't even notice until I yelled, "FIRE!" This is what was left of hers.

Gina had a hard time keeping the finger prints off hers. We don't care, we just like to laugh! And laugh we do!

I was being sneaky trying to do another one because I didn't like how mine turned out.

Now for the GOOD part! Crepes! YUM!!!

Dawn enjoying her crepe! They were soooooooooo good! Can't wait for next month!

This was taken when we got together to just do our own crafts. We were all wearing our "Crafting" aprons and so we just HAD to have a photo!

Dinner What do you wish you had more time for?

Midnight Snack What was your biggest stressor this week?

Recipe of the Week (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?)
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

MY ANSWERS

Breakfast What do you like to do when you have nothing to do? It used to be read. Now I have my iPhone, I find myself playing Solitaire a lot. :o) I also like to be on the computer if I have some spare time checking my email or Facebook or blogs.

Lunch Are you a saver or a chucker? Unfortunately I am a saver, but I wish I were a chucker. I am very sentimental and so I have hard time letting go of some things. I admire people that can just chuck things without a second thought.

Dinner What do you wish you had more time for? Stillness...

Midnight Snack What was your biggest stressor this week? I was in charge of the decorations for this huge Stake Relief Society meeting on Tuesday. I wanted to make sure it lived up to our President's expectations. It was a big ordeal, but ended up very nice. Glad that's over... ☺

Recipe of the Week (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?) One day at a time... just one day at a time. Breath... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Friday Fill-Ins

And...here we go!

1. For me, it was one of the coldest track meets ever!

2. I love the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies at my local supermarket.

3. Behind the sound of the wind in the trees, I heard the hooting of owls.

4. Playing the harp is something I always wanted to do.

5. When it was over, I felt a huge relief!

6. I was scared but I never felt alone.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to going with Bonnie to a nursery and ordering my potted plants, then hopefully out to dinner with Dave, tomorrow my plans include Taylor's track meet in Logan, then to Kathy's in Hooper for a crafting day with the girls (and crepes!), then home to do whatever comes up, and Sunday, I want to rest! (yeah right!)

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 1) What is your most treasured childhood memory? Not sure how I can choose one, but I loved it when we lived in Reno and my Grandma and Grandpa (Mae and Ed as I affectionately called them) came and visited us. It was especially sweet when they would bring my cousin Shelley!

2) What was your favorite childhood toy? My Barbie dolls. Why did you like it? I would play them for hours and sometimes for days if a friend spent the night. We would make a huge house for them in my basement and never tire of it. We made our own furniture from wood scraps from the construction sites around my home and cut out other furniture from the Spiegel catalog. Good memories!

3) What was your favorite childhood show? The Brady Bunch. Who was your favorite character? I didn't really have a favorite. I loved them all!

4) Who was your best childhood friend and what is your clearest memory of this person? The ones I remember the best in Reno were Lisa Adaki and Corinne Morgan. Timmy Petapus was my boyfriend. He would kiss my arm starting at my fingers and go all the way up to my shoulder. Relax...we were in 2nd grade. =)

5) What is the best gift you ever remember receiving as a child? Probably my Velvet doll. She had long blond hair and was dressed in purple velvet. ***************************************

1.At what age did you realize you are no longer young? Not sure, still haven't realized it yet! Ask me again in about 3 1/2 months!

2.What was the longest line you ever had to stand in? I think it was in heaven in the line for the talent of singing. It was too long and so I got out and went and got in the line for purple-aholism.

3.In what way are you especially strong? My biceps! haha Well, they used to be until I quit going to the gym. ü Gosh that's a hard one. I guess I feel like I am strong when it comes to serious adversity. I am usually able to keep things viewed with an eternal perspective. I am not saying it's not hard or I don't struggle, because I do. And of course, it isn't that way with ALL of my trials~~~just some.

4.Who was the last person to inform you that you were wrong? It was probably my son Taylor. He is 17. Enough said...☺

5.When did you last have to bid someone so long? Hmm... not sure.

~ A Knight for a Princess ~

I am doing a whole post on Taylor's Junior Prom because:

#1 I took a lot of great pictures!

#2 Other people took a lot of great pictures and gave them to me.

#3 Taylor almost didn't get to go with Allie because he thought he had more time....long story, but to sum it up, she also got asked by someone else 10 minutes after he asked her! Whew!

#4 I didn't get to go to my Junior Prom so this is kind of like therapy to get over the trauma I endured over 30 years ago! ☺ My dress sat in my closet while my friends danced the night away at the STATE CAPITOL! all while I sat in bed covered from head to toe with a severe case of chicken pox! To make it worse, my date didn't believe I had them. He just thought it was a good way for me to back out! Trust me, I HAD THEM!

#5 They look so good!

Gotta love the pinning on of the boutonniere at Allie's house! I should have put the photo in with Allie's mom finally doing it! lol I can never pin those things on either!

Taylor and Allie with his friend CJ and his date. CJ was crowned PROM KING!!!
Gotta love CJ!

At the Promenade. They rushed so fast this was the only picture that turned out! Allie spinned Taylor under her arm and they ended in the GQ pose.

My girls! Aren't they beautiful? I was their Youth Conference MA!

So cute with Grammy and Grampy!

Allie with her parents.

HOW much?

Pictures of the group! You will have to click on these to enlarge (especially the one with the girl's shoes at the bottom!)

Such a fun time in everyone's life! (unless of course, you have the chicken pox!)
