What happened today that made you feel good?
As I was leaving a meeting this afternoon I over heard one of the women in the group talking about me. Hmm... that's always fun! Not! When she saw me, she walked over and put her arm around me and told me she was just talking about me... (oh really!) I smiled and perplexingly (wow big words today!) said, "What?" I wanted to say, "Yes, I know I heard my name", but I restrained myself. But she was really sweet and said she was just telling everyone how much fun I was when she sat by me at a luncheon and then in the car on the way home, and how she couldn't wait to do it again. It left me wondering just what she is remembering! Hmm... But it did make my day!

Holy cow YES! I still haven't put my Christmas away! This is the longest I have left it up in the history of Jodi-dom! Dave used to beg me to leave it up until his birthday (Jan. 7th) and I did one year, but couldn't stand to do it again! But this year I haven't even had a chance for it to bug me yet because things have been so insanely busy! I haven't been able to find a four hour block (which I will need in order to put it all away) and so it is still up! Hopefully today! If not I will stay up all night until it is!

I am looking most forward to getting my boys rooms re-done.

It always seems to revolve around the same theme... Life passes by so quickly and children grow up faster than we realize so LOVE, CHERISH, and ENJOY, each and every moment for they pass oh so quickly!

1. It's January; the month with the reputation of being the most dreaded and dreary winter month, BUT...it's really a month filled with snowmen and glistening snow.
2. A foot rub, Olive Garden, and a warm fire is what I crave most right now. (Any offers?)
3. Cork and wine go together like chocolate and me! ♥
4. Oatmeal (or an oatmeal cookie! :D) is so nourishing.
5. Let us dare to do the right thing no matter how difficult it may be.
6. I ♥ my home.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to getting all the Christmas put away (yes I know I am SLOW! Read my DINNER above) and my January Snowmen up (I ♥ Snowmen!), attending Taylor's basketball game, and other than that really no plans for once! tomorrow my plans include a 7 a.m. meeting with the youth in my church, cleaning, and maybe going to a movie or something fun, and Sunday, I want to attend all my meetings and chillax for a change!

that was a fun list! i hope you get all your christmas down too it is such a job around here! i think mine was left up a little longer then normal too! The kids all hated to see it come down as i know what they mean but thats life and how it goes...it is always exciting to see rooms redone! i love it - when its finished;)

I totally agree with your #5 on the Friday Fill-Ins! I also like what you said on the end of your Food 4 Thought. Our children grow so quickly, we have to spend NOW enjoying them!
