Food 4 Thought Friday ~ This week's questions:
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Breakfast ~ Where does your mind wander when there is nothing pressing on it?
Lunch ~ What is one of the hardest things you do each day?
Dinner ~ When did you last feel fear? Why?
Midnight Snack ~ Was there something you felt inspired to do this week and did it? Didn't do it? What were the results?
Recipe of the Week ~ (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?)

MY ANSWERS
Breakfast ~ Where does your mind wander when there is nothing pressing on it? Probably on all the things I SHOULD be doing and catching up on. I also tend to think about past memories. Mostly good! :o)
Lunch ~ What is one of the hardest things you do each day? Probably just forcing myself to get the stuff on my TO DO LIST done! And even though running has become a lifestyle and a habit now, there are some days when getting myself out that door is REALLY tough!
Dinner ~ When did you last feel fear? Why? The other day at 7:00 a.m. there was a loud pounding on our front door. I immediately thought it was a police officer coming to tell us some bad news about one of our boys. Mainly I thought it was about McKay because he is in California with his buddies on his senior trip right now and just letting him go has caused me GREAT fear! Fear that he won't return home safely! And I had even more fear when Dave said he didn't have a good feeling about letting him go. I will be one very relieved Mama when he walks in that front door!
Midnight Snack ~ Was there something you felt inspired to do this week and did it? Didn't do it? What were the results? Dave hasn't been able to find his wallet since he returned from their fishing trip (aka car breakdown trip) last weekend. He has looked everywhere to no avail. He decided he must have left it up at the cabin. I had been feeling like I should look really well in my purse because in the back of my mind I remember seeing a wallet in my car and putting it in my purse when I headed into church last week. But when I said something, Taylor said it was his wallet that was in my car. I just figured it was his wallet that I did that with and that he got it. So... my son Bryce drove ALL the way to the cabin and back in one day to go see if Dave's was left there. That was about a seven hour round trip! I kept thinking I should go check in my purse just in case, but until I was telling my mom that Bryce had driven all the way up there to see if his wallet was there, I didn't do it. I finally checked while I was still on the phone with her and sure enough, there his wallet was! Had I checked even one day earlier it would have saved Bryce that long trip all the way up there for nothing! Sigh........
Recipe of the Week ~ (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?) After attending two viewings and a funeral this week, I have been thinking that life really is such a short journey and I need to be more focused on serving others because in the end, how much we do for others and how kind we are is truly all that matters.

What a long trip for your son... and kinda too funny that the wallet was indeed in your purse...

So who was knocking at your door so early? We had that happen in the middle of the night once and there were a few police men but they said we had made a 911 call....we were all asleep..but it was scary and I just let them in...dumb, dumb...they might not have been real police. (but these were)
I played and my link is http://dawnthemom.blogspot.com/2015/04/food-4-thought-friday_10.html
Dawn it was the city workers - they are replacing all the water lines on our street. He needed us to move a car!
