MY ANSWERS

THE PRESENT
Breakfast ~ What was your day like today? Well, it didn't start out too great because I was basically awake ALL NIGHT LONG!  Ugh.  Not my idea of fun!  And even though I was awake and petting Mr. Cat who was laying on my legs, my alarm didn't go off!  Thankfully, Dave's did!  I got up at 5:30 a.m. and then Dave drove me and Robin to Sherwood Hills to do our long run (20 miles!).  We were supposed to do it Saturday but we have a conflict now on that day, so we went today.  It wasn't too bad all in all.  We survived and even watched the sunrise.  It was gorgeous!  I came home and chatted with Bryce and Sky (he's home for a bit!) and then showered. I then practiced the harp and piano for almost two hours.  My nephew Weston stopped by and then Sky's friend Jeremy and his baby Navy also stopped by.  I ran to the store and then came home and made a birthday cake for Dave's Dad's 80th birthday party tomorrow.  We grilled burgers and watched the Olympics.  I  really need to hit the sack because my alarm is going off at 5:00 a.m in the morning so I can get in my 9 mile run!
Lunch ~ Is there something you really want right now but can't have?  ExplainI was going to say sleep because I can't go to bed yet (too much to still do!)....but I think I'll say grandkids!  Hah!  Pretty sure I can't have them until my boys cooperate!  Someone needs to start a "Rent a Grandbaby" program for people like me!  LOL
Dinner ~ What do you wish you could control right nowHow fast time goes by.  I would slow it down if I could!
Midnight Snack ~ If you could eliminate one of your current concerns/worries/stresses, what would it be? Oh my that's a loaded question!  I guess I would say the constant worry over each of my boys.  I am pretty sure that will never end as long as I am a mother!  I have a lot of stresses, but maybe the one in the forefront would be who will be elected as our next President.  Now THAT'S a worry, concern, and stress!  Maybe I should put that as my Dinner answer.  I would love to control that!  haha
Recipe for the Week ~ (instead of your recipe for life, what is it just for the week?)
Be more patient with people.  Everyone is trying to do their best and everyone has struggles that we aren't aware of.

this weeks ?'s stressed me :D I enjoyed your answers much better than answering them. Maybe my focus this week hasn't been on the positive..or maybe there is just more stress at the moment. :) You are right about the next President being a worry, concern and stress....I can't imagine a lot of good coming from either candidate. :( Scary!

I look forward to the Recipes for the week....they always put things in perspective. I love yours!

I played and my answers are at http://dawnthemom.blogspot.com/2016/08/food-4-thought-friday_19.html
