MY ANSWERS

Breakfast What is your weather? This morning it was 28°! Many of the fruit blossoms froze! Where is spring?!!!

Lunch ?What did you dream about recently? I dreamt that I had a dog. When I woke up I really thought I did. It seemed so real! I think it's a sign! =)
Dinner What is the last party you went to? Tonight. I went to a surprise party for my friend Marilyn who turned 40 today.

Midnight Snack What was the hardest thing you did this week? I ran 11 1/2 miles this morning and had issues with my IT bands. My left knee gave out on me twice, but I had to finish the run. It was a training run for the half marathon I am running in a few weeks.

Recipe of the Week (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?)</ strong <> Stay positive even when it appears there is no hope. Positive thoughts give off good energy and help to create what you want and need.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FRIDAY 5: TEEVEE
****************************
1.What are your thoughts on late-night television talk shows? I personally like them but my husband does not and so I only watch them if he is not home.

2.What television program is so bad you can’t believe anyone watches it? Gosh where do I begin? I'd say most of the current sitcoms are that way.

3.In what way have your television-viewing habits changed over the years? I just don't watch TV much anymore. If I do, I enjoy old movies or TLC or something educational or interesting like Hoarders. I also love the oldies like I Love Lucy and My Three Sons. I really could not tell you anything about any of the regular shows on now. I just do not watch them. The only one I do watch is Dancing With the Stars when I remember. If the TV is on around here it's usually on some sports game or The Office.

4.If you were in charge of the universe, what changes might you make to television? Clean it up! Get rid of all the sex and other things that make the youth think all of that is just normal.

5. What is most likely the very next thing you will be watching on television? The Royal Wedding. I plan on getting up at 4 a.m to watch it live! I did the same thing when Princess Diana got married.

Taylor National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Utah Chapter Award

This kid has excelled at football. He has more tackles than anyone on the team and his stats in every other area are high. His coach nominated him for the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Utah Chapter Award.  It is a huge honor. Only a handful of players are nominated across the entire state. It is no surprise to us, but we must say we are very proud of him.  This is a very prestigious award and a very big honor to receive. There are only three other Box Elder players who have received this award. His is definitely in good company
The event was held at UVU in Provo.  Attendees were the college coaches and other big names in football.
Raven's NFL player
Haloti Ngata
was the special guest who presented the awards.
 What a great night!
They read about Taylor and he had to go up front to receive the award. It was pretty amazing!  They talked about what a great award this is and how hard it is to receive and how proud the parents should be of their boys. No need to tell us that.

Haloti Ngata gave a speech. We ate a great meal and it was just a very special night.

Taylor got an autographed football to boot!
We are very proud of this boy! He is an all around great athlete and excels in all sports. Basketball and track included.
As is his couch. Coach Gunter.
What an honor for him and what an honor for us to be his parents.

HOMECOMING 2011

Dave got to be the team doctor for a few games this year.

McKay played football too... sorry in the wrong post.

Crepes and Craftin' 94/7!

Yes that is supposed to say "94-7". Kathy was so enthusiastic about crafting that she accidently slipped that out once and it stuck!

My friend Kathy sells Stampin' Up and so once a month we gather at her house and she teaches us a new technique. We take turns hostessing the party but we are all really there for each other's company, not really the crafts.

This month we learned to make cards out of soot. Yes, I said soot. In order to get soot, you must first have fire. Luckily we didn't burn down her house, though it was close!

Robin's was in flames and she didn't even notice until I yelled, "FIRE!" This is what was left of hers.

Gina had a hard time keeping the finger prints off hers. We don't care, we just like to laugh! And laugh we do!

I was being sneaky trying to do another one because I didn't like how mine turned out.

Now for the GOOD part! Crepes! YUM!!!

Dawn enjoying her crepe! They were soooooooooo good! Can't wait for next month!

This was taken when we got together to just do our own crafts. We were all wearing our "Crafting" aprons and so we just HAD to have a photo!
