Foolish!

No, no, no! April Fool's Day is anything BUT foolish!

Here are some shots of the "well-received" tasty and delish treat I lavished my fam with this year! (see previous post)

Taylor smirked at the gift....McKay looked disgusted...Skyler LOVED it! He even said it tasted - well...tasty! It must be the "Survivor Man" in him! Bleh!

Mmm... THANKS MOM! Crickets have lots of flavor! He preferred them over the brownie! WHERE did I go WRONG???

In case that "bugged" you too much, I did make some "edible" treats as well...

Aren't these the cutest?
They are made from:
Vanilla Wafers
Grasshopper Cookies (without the grasshoppers!)
Coconut (colored green with food coloring)
Sesame Seeds
Frosting
Sooo easy!

At Young Women's we invited the Bishopric to a "formal" dinner. I don't think they suspected anything even though it was held on April Fool's Day!
We set up a very formal table and then as their anticipation and salivary ducts were building, we served them THIS:

Looks good huh? Yes, we all agreed...
Too bad it wasn't MORE filling! Ha!!!!
(Compare the size to the ketchup packet)

Yes we served them MINI...or should I say - VERY mini cheeseburgers!!! And some Potato Sticks to go along with them. They looked just like French Fries. Then with some cherry tomatoes, green onions, and mini gherkins sliced up to garnish their morsels...they could not complain!

They were HAPPY campers! Oh yes!

Their beverages being served in sacrament cups was a nice touch I must say!

Mmm...mmm...GOOD! We told them if we had a bigger budget then maybe they would have had a bigger burger!

We then opened the partition and as they saw us eating lots and lots of very filling PIZZA, we yelled...APRIL FOOLS!

And yes...we even shared the pizza with them! Because we are nice like that.

After all tummies were full and happy, we played:
STUMP THE BISHOPRIC
They had to choose from a cup ONE object and out of another one ONE gospel principle and then relate the two. We were sure we were going to stump them when they started drawing things like...elephant and marriage, or volleyball and chastity, or mouse and testimony. But NOPE! They all applied them with flying colors!

Our Bishopric is hereby declared UNSTUMPABLE!

No fools on this day!!!
