A THOUGHTFUL Food 4 Thought Friday
Breakfast ~ What is consuming your thoughts currently? Many things as usual.... McKay, Sky, Bryce, Taylor (they always do!), marathon training, my health, weight, all the things I need to do but haven't got to yet (too numerous to mention), upcoming wedding cake, bridal shower, and family reunion (all that I am in charge of), relationships, a few friends who are struggling, my house (trying to get rid of stuff and find the time to do that), and all the things I wish I was better at.
Lunch ~ What is the most thoughtful thing you did this week?I guess it would be helping my Mom entertain my Aunt and cousin who were here visiting.  I went and bought lunch for everyone on Monday at Panda Express and stayed all day and visited.
Dinner ~ What is the most thoughtful thing someone else did for you this week?My son Bryce gave me part of his breakfast sandwich when I mentioned how good it looked (sunflower seed toast, fried egg, cheese, bacon and guacamole). I tried to refuse but he said he wasn't going to eat it.  I'm sure he was, but he was being kind.  That kid would give anyone the shirt off of his back.  He is one of the most generous and definitely the kindest person I know.
Midnight Snack ~ If you could eliminate one of your reoccurring thoughts, what it would be? I guess when my thoughts are on other people that I have NO control over when I am not in agreement with what they are doingAlso, any negative thinking that I allow in my head.  I try to focus on gratitude when that happens, but it is work and doesn't come natural. It's a constant work in progress.
Recipe for the Week ~ (instead of your recipe for life, what is it just for the week?)

hello friend....I played and my answers are at http://dawnthemom.blogspot.com/2016/07/food-4-thought-friday.html
I would be so stressed with everything you are in charge of. But you will pull it off like a pro!
Your lunch was very thoughtful and I'm sure very enjoyable. Your Bryce sounds a lot like my Justin & Braxton...both very thoughtful and would do anything for others.
It's hard not to think about your midnight snack..it really is a work in progress.
Love your recipe for the Week...Our Thoughts are Powerful!

When I get to feeling overwhelmed with everything I have to do I just look at your lists and I feel much better! I really don't know how you get everything done - and you never acted like you are stressed.
Bryce is so sweet! I love your Recipe for Life!

I forgot to mention that I agree with your midnight snack. It is so hard when people you love do things that you don't agree with - and there is nothing you can do about it! I hate that I feel so helpless.

I was surprised when you said "all the things I wish I was better at." You are so talented. Your training. Your cake skills. Your involvement with sons, mom and dad...the list could go on and on.
So many times as I read your blog, I think to myself...I wish I could be more like her.
Now if that thought would stay in my mind, and make me and my world better. I need to work on my thoughts. Love your advice quote.
