MY ANSWERS

BreakfastWhat is your favorite time of day and why?I like the real early morning when all is quiet and peaceful. But I also really like it when it is time for bed too!
Lunch
If you could find anything under your Christmas tree this year, what would it be?A pet! Preferably one that goes, "Meow" ☺
DinnerWould you want to know when you were going to die?
That is a really hard one. I think in some ways I would because then I would know how much time I had and I would probably waste less of it. But then on the other hand, I think it would make me take more risks just due to the fact that I would know I wasn't going to die doing it. And just because you don't die (doing a sky dive with a chute that won't open for example) you can still get really hurt and injured. There are some things worse than death to be sure! Like being paralyzed for the rest of your life because your chute didn't open. I think deep down though I don't want to know because if it was real soon, ugh!...I just don't want to know that! Or do I? Hmm.... Tough one to be sure! I can see a lot of pros and cons with each.

Midnight Snack If someone gives you a Christmas gift that you weren't expecting, do you give them one in return even though you didn't plan on it?This seems to happen a lot. But I always buy a few extra things "just in case".

Recipe for this Week (instead of your recipe for life - what is it for just this week?)

"The Lord compensates the faithful for every loss. That which is taken away from those who love the Lord will be added unto them in His own way. While it may not come at the time we desire, the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude."--Joseph B. Wirthlin, "Come What May, and Love It"
"Be still and know that I am God."

2. I'm looking forward to my sister-in-law (and fam) coming for Christmas!

3. A friend is the best therapy ever!

4. One of my favorite old tv shows is I ♥Love♥ Lucy.

5. I'm done with about half the people on my Christmas list. Still so many to go!

6. The most enjoyable thing around the holidays is the spirit that surrounds each of us during this time. I also love being around family more.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to attending Taylor's game in a city two hours away or not (still not sure how to work it all out), attend our ward Christmas party tomorrow my plans include attending a ward council planning meeting at 7 a.m. and then running in the Snowman Shuffle 5K. After freezing my tush off in the run, I am going to a home show with some friends and Sunday, I want to attend all my meetings and then seriously chill for a change.

Friends truly are great therapy, eh?

We had the discussion in Gospel Doctrine a couple of weeks ago about whether we'd want to know when we were going to die. I really don't think I'd want to know.

Have a great weekend.
