How do you usually celebrate Valentines Day? If you don't celebrate it where you live, how would you like to celebrate it?

I always have a Valentine's dinner for my fam sometime during the week. I make heart shaped, pink, or red everything. I set the table very nice and we eat by candlelight. Dave usually gives me flowers and Idle Isle nutballs and chocolate covered almonds...mmm! We usually don't go out unless it's on a weekend.

What is your most unique or fondest memory of Valentine's Day?
When I was in college I unexpectedly got two bouquets of flowers, a stuffed animal, candy heart filled with chocolate, and a few cards from a several different guys all in one year. Now that was fun... let me tell you! But now that I live with all guys, those things don't even compare with the sweet notes and hugs I get everyday from "my" guys. I ♥ U!

Midnight Snack
What would be your dream Valentine date?

Eating at the Roof restaurant how it used to be 25 years ago... complete with candlelight, music, and yummy chocolate dessert. Dancing would have to be involved too.

We must take the time to do what really matters because if we don't time won't wait.

And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to spending ALL afternoon and evening at our church helping with the Sweetheart's dinner our youth do as a fund raiser for camp I am in charge of, tomorrow my plans include hopefully get in an outside run, and later Dave and I are foregoing the typical VD date and joining some friends in the Amazing Race to hopefully win a winter getaway for two! We will race around Layton and "re-live" our love story (or so they say). It sounds interesting and it includes: dinner, dessert, and detours! Hmm... It's not a foot race but a car road rally of sorts, and Sunday, I want to be ready for my Young Women board meeting here, go to church, come home and enjoy some quiet time!
