MY ANSWERS

Breakfast ~ What made you get out of bed today? McKay. He needed a haircut and so I got up at 6:30 to cut his hair. I usually get up at that time anyway and I had been awake since 4:00 a.m. (#insomniaproblems) so it wasn't a big deal.

Lunch ~
What was something that inspired you this week? At my Utah Homemaker's meeting this week we had a share day.  Everyone brings a few of their favorite things to share (i.e. product, website, app, recipe, food, craft project, etc.) with the group.  It's always my favorite meeting because I always come away with so many new ideas and things to try.  I am currently working on a post about it because I want to share what everyone brought and inspire others to try a few of the things.

Dinner ~ Name a light-bulb moment this week. This one was hard to answer.  I guess it would have to be when I saw this cute little quote by Mary Engelbright:
I've always known our problems were gifts (even though that sounds contradictory), and that we are supposed to learn and grown from them, but I really never thought of them as messages before.  I guess if we take the time to analyze our problems then we will find out what message we are supposed to take away from them.  Lessons and messages are not always the same thing.

I also read an article about Marianne Williamson (who I love!) titled: The One Sentence You Need to Say to Every Person You Meet, that was also a bit of a light-bulb moment. It really shouldn't have been, but the more I thought about that sentence, the more it opened up my mind as to the power we have to make others feel better and I realized I really don't do enough of that.  I need to be better that way.  Here's a quote from the article with the sentence: "As you go through the day, anywhere you might be, look at someone's face and silently say to them, "The love in me salutes the love in you."  I like that. You can read the article HERE

Midnight Snack ~
What are you most looking forward to right now? Now that is an easy one... SPRING!

Recipe of the Week ~ (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?)
Life is not always going to be a spoonful of chocolate. In fact, a lot of it is going to be those nasty unsweetened cocoa beans before all the good stuff is added to make it sweet. But if we can remember to turn to the One who already experienced all the bitterness of what we are currently going through, and then ask Him for His help when it gets nasty and we are anxious to spit it out, He will be there for us because He knows firsthand what we are feeling and He is the only One that knows how to comfort us perfectly.
