Food 4 Thought Friday ~ This week's questions:
Lunch ~ What is under your bed?
Dinner ~ How did you spend your day (or yesterday if answering in the morning).
Midnight Snack ~ What is the last thing someone said to you that you will remember forever?
Recipe of the Week ~ (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?)
Breakfast ~ If you could build a cabin or second home, where would it be? Bear Lake. The only way Dave got me to consent to move to our city is because he promised me someday he would get us a cabin in Bear Lake. Instead we have one in Alaska. We also get to go to his parent's cabin in Alpine Wyoming, but I still have the dream of one day owning one at Bear Lake. We have looked, but they are so expensive that not sure it will ever happen.Lunch ~ What is under your bed? My stash of wrapping paper rolls.
Dinner ~ How did you spend your day (or yesterday if answering in the morning). I ran six miles, stopped and watched Dave at the Pickleball courts, chatted with friends there, showered, did laundry, went to Ogden to visit Mona and take her a treat, washed my car at Magic Wash (my new fave adventure), shopped for a baby gift, shopped for stuff for Tyson's birthday party tomorrow, lost my keys at Ross (then found them in my cart after borrowing a dime so I could get my spare key off my car), ran into a few friends at Costco and chatted for a while, called my Mom twice, went to a baby shower, visited with my friend Heidi, printed out Tyson's cards for the balloons, did Food 4 Thought Friday for my blog early since we are going to a family reunion, and didn't have to make dinner because we had leftovers and the boys were gone.
Midnight Snack ~ What is the last thing someone said to you that you will remember forever? After Davaleen's funeral we were at lunch and talking about how she came to join our group. Her friend Chris told me that when she asked her how she liked it that first time, Dave told her that it was fun and we were all nice but she wasn't sure if she would go again until I told her that it wouldn't be the same without her. That is why she kept coming. I don't remember even saying that to her, but it goes to show you that we have no idea the impact our words can have on others. Be free with saying kind and nice words. The effort is small, but the impact is great.
