MY ANSWERS

Breakfast ~ What was the happiest thing that happened to you this week?  There are several things on the happy one.  First, that I finally got Dave to go suit shopping!  Yay!  He hates to shop and I have been trying to get him to go for a very long time.  Also, I had an orthodontist appt. this week and he said my teeth have moved dramatically and so I was super happy that it (the Invisalign) has all been worth it so far! I'm also super happy that I almost have one of the calendars done for Christmas. I never get them done this early!  YAY! Saddest? I guess that my cat got in a fight and has a huge infection on his head.
Lunch ~ Where in the world have you been that you thought was most like paradise? When we were in Puerto Rico on a business trip for a pharmaceutical co. we stayed at the El Conquistador Resort.  It was amazing and we rode a boat out to a little private island and it was PARADISE on steroids!  I have never seen a more beautiful place. The water was light blue and clear and so warm it was almost hot.  There were cabana boys and we sipped Pina Colada's on the beach while just enjoying the beauty of it all.  The island also had enormous bunnies roaming around.  I truly doubt I will ever experience another place like that in my lifetime.
Dinner ~ What compliment do people give you the most? Hmm... a lot of people tell me that I am a very strong person and that I have a lot of energy and that I'm always positive and a lot of fun to be around.  None of which is always true, but I do try.  I also have a lot of people tell me that I inspire them because of my running. Also on my the color of my eyes.
Midnight Snack ~ What famous person you would have loved to be born as? Why I add so many questions on here that are hard for me to answer I will never know...haha, but without thinking too hard on this one I would have to say off the top of my head that I always thought it would have been cool to be Princess Diana.  That is if I could forego all the tragic events of her life....especially how it ended.  I have no idea why I think it would have been so exciting but I do.  Living the life of royalty sounds so intriguing.  After giving it a little more thought, I think that living Oprah's life would also be awesome.  At least the last half of her life when she was successful.  I think it would amazing to be able to have the power and influence she has and to share her beliefs with so many people. Of course, I hope that if I were her, I would be able to share the beliefs I have and not necessarily the ones she has.  Make sense? lol  Other than the part of her not being a mother.  I would have to change that!  But then I guess I couldn't be Oprah because how could she have done all she did and be a mother?  I think that is why she did all she did because she didn't have children and I'm not willing to sacrifice being a mother for ANYTHING or for ANYONE'S life!  Being a mother is the greatest thing I've ever done!  All of the other ones that came to my mind (Jacquie Kennedy Onassis, Mya Angelo, Mother Teresa, Eleanor Roosevelt, Eve, Mary the mother of Jesus) all had amazing lives but they were also filled with so much heartache and trials.  I guess there's a lesson in that...in order to live a remarkable life we must expect to go through some pretty intense hardships and tragedies.  I guess that is the cost of being remarkable.
Recipe of the Week ~ (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?) If you don't like something, then change it. If you can't change it, then learn to accept it.

I love your answers, especially your midnight snack. I was thinking the same thing, to be another person would be to experience their highs, but also their lows and I don't think I want to handle anyone else's troubles! Mine are tough enough!
I played this week, but Kim was a poo-head and didn't want to answer the tough questions.

I always love reading your food for thought. I always learn more about you and I like that. Your paradise does sound amazing. I'm happy that you were able to get your hubby to go shopping and that your teeth are moving. I noticed that at our tea party and was going to tell you but I guess I didn't get the chance (or forgot) Your recipe for the week is very good :)
I played along...but on Sunday and my answers are here http://dawnthemom.blogspot.com/2015/11/food-for-thought-fridayanswered-on.html
(I tried fixing my settings but I'm pretty sure I wasn't able to accomplish what I wanted)
