It's a little free therapy session hosted by MckMama where you confess all those things that you DID NOT DO during the week. No, not YOU! You would NEVER do such things! ...or WOULD you?
So, here we go with the things I SO did not do this week:
☺I did not allow body aches and pains mixed in with severe nausea to keep me down for nearly four days in a row! No, not me! I always tough it out and I would never do that. I am a mother, there are no such things as sick days!
☺I did not watch TV movies while I was down that I had never seen before because they were just too weird like Hitchcock's Vertigo & The Glass House. They would just freak me out and give me
☺I did not lay there with the TV on all night while I dosed in and out of sleep. I have no idea how many creepy and weird movies are on the tube at all hours.
☺By the third day, I did not refuse pain meds from my doctor husband because I prefer to be drug-free...even when not pain-free. I am not an idiot.
☺I did not watch TV movies that I love even though they are also weird, like Hitchcock's Rear Window and hmm...can't remember now...must be those pain meds I didn't refuse to take.
☺I do not have a husband that took real good care of me and made sure I had what I needed and even rented me DVD's. I am not that blessed! Not me!
☺I did not surprise myself that I had no desire to read or blog at all.
☺I did not freak out that I ALSO probably pulled a muscle (earlier) which would mean no training OR running for possibly six weeks!
☺I did not say even one time: "When it rains, it pours!"
☺I also did not say even one time: "I am sick of being sick!"
☺When I stepped outside this morning to get the paper and heard a million birds chirping and felt and smelled spring in the air, I did not groan or mutter under my breath, "It's finally warm and I can't even go on a run! Dang it all to #$*#!@!" I'd never say that.
☺I am not secretly hoping it will turn back to 30 degrees and snow like the dickens so I don't feel the urge to get outside.
