Here is a fun treat to make today:

The recipe is easy...just follow the Rice Krispy Treat recipe, but add GREEN food coloring to the marshmallow/butter mixture and a little Mint Extract. When it is all mixed in with the Rice Krispies, let it cool slightly and then add about 1/2 cup of MINI CHOCOLATE CHIPS. They are MAGICALLY DELICIOUS!

Here's another cute idea...
I spoke last week on Blogging at a 4-H State Convention and this is the cute gift they made me.
It is a Terra-cotta pot with the edge painted green and they filled it with Green Apple flavored licorice to look like grass. It looked cuter before I ate some of the licorice! It had about 2/3 rds more licorice in it! So CUTE!

Here is a copy of our Family Newsletter we sent out this past week. I traditionally do them on Christmas, but the past couple of years I decided Christmas is just too busy and so started to send them out on Valentines Day. This year it ended up being St. Patrick's Day! Ugh! I had my reasons...you will have to read it to find out.

Hi Jodi,
Happy St. Patricks day to you!
I was pinched already this morning by my daughter as I sent her to school all in green she looked at me and pinched me HARD. I told her it wasn't fair I was still in my pj's!

What a clever family newsletter- and I'm with you Christmas time is way to busy. I graduated from Utah State many years ago and loved living there.

Better late than never I'd say! At least you did it this year. I figure I can direct people to my blogs, and they can know more about me than I could ever want them to!
Miss you in YW. It's not fair we've been split up.
