A Beacon of Light and Hope

Okay...I know, I know... I am a total rookie at this blog stuff, so don't expect too much! But I can already tell it is my thing! I have wanted to get one up and running for a long time and I am so excited I have finally done it! A big thanks to my friend Jody for keeping on me until I got it done! Without her help, I would still be wishing I had one. So why do I want to start a blog? Well, first of all I didn't want to be the only one on my husband's side of the family to not have one....luckily I wasn't yet! And second of all, I am a born historian at heart and I like to record everything!!! I have been an avid journaler for years and I have a deep love of preserving memories of my life and the lives of others....namely my boys, through writing and photographs. I see this as a great way to do both in a unique sort of way. I also love to write and recently started writing my own daily message that I send via email to family and friends that I call Jodi's Daily Beacon of Light and Hope. My hope is to start posting it on here. I think the biggest reason I want to begin this is to provide an easy link and connection to family and friends, and this is such a great way to do that. I have a lot to learn, but I am way excited!!! So here we go!
