The following video is an awesome slide show of various pictures of Christ's life by Mark Mabry. Very moving and touching to the soul. I hope you enjoy and ponder as you watch and listen.
Remember to pause my playlist at the bottom first.
Thank you for helping me to relive some precious memories. Reflections of Christ was on display at the Mesa, Arizona Temple Visitor's Center, and my family and I had the wonderful opportunity to see it in person. It was powerful. I wept as I looked upon those beautiful images and listened to the music, composed by our friend (and former ward member) Clyde Bawden, the pianist on this video.
Last month Clyde shared a musical presentation at our stake women's conference. His friend, the soloist featured on this video, was there with him, and they performed this arrangement of "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing." It was every bit as beautiful in person! (It's my favorite hymn, too.)
We are so blessed to have the Gospel in our lives! :)
Love Reflections of Christ and the spirit I feel when I see the pictures especially along with the music. Being from AZ where the photographer is from I know two of the "actors". One is a dancer Chelsea who is flying in the angel picture, and the other is Sam who is to the left of the savior on the cross in the Calvary picture. Sam just left on a mission to Australia. Pretty cool huh!
I hear Mark is working on another book of photos. This time its of the Nephities that being shot in South America.
