Food 4 Thought Friday ~ This week's questions:
Breakfast What are your weekend plans?
Lunch Where would you go right now if you had no other obligations?
Dinner What brought you great joy this week?
Midnight Snack What is your favorite dessert of all time?
Recipe of the Week (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?)
Breakfast ~ What are your weekend plans? Tonight we get to go to a "Night With a General Authority" and hear Elder Holland speak at the Salt Lake Tabernacle. There is a social after at the Conference Center. On Saturday I was asked to be a judge for the Young Mother of the Year selection that will be held in Provo. On Sunday I teach Sunday School and I am attending Elder Cobbley's missionary homecoming.
Lunch ~ Where would you go right now if you had no other obligations? I would love to go upstairs and just curl up in my silky soft heated blanket and watch a DVD I got for Christmas that I haven't been able to find the time to watch yet, but those "other" obligations keep preventing that from happening.
Dinner ~ What brought you great joy this week? I got my VDay decors put up, I made some payback treats for friends, I got in my long run in 60° temps with a good friend, I went to lunch to Maddox with another dear friend, I got to tend my neighbor's cat while they are out of town, and the fact that it feels like SPRING in February!!!
Midnight Snack ~ What is your favorite dessert of all time? That would be Carrabba's Sogno Dream Cake! OH. MY. HEAVENLY. HEART! It is to die for! I probably actually would die for it. It is that good! And...drum-roll please.... I actually get some tomorrow since I will be in Provo. It is a REQUIRED stop! So excited!
Recipe of the Week ~ (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?) You have to depend on your own strength and not on the strength of others. It's easy to rely on others to be there and pull you through, but in the end, you have to be the one to get yourself through. And we are all stronger than we think.
