MY ANSWERS

Breakfast ~ What three things made you the happiest this week? Hmm...not sure what exactly made me feel so happy this week, but I have been laughing a lot more than usual and I already laugh a lot.  The things that made me the happiest would be #1- that I got to spend time with my son Taylor.  I went to Logan to take him his suit and took him out to lunch and shopping and it was just fun being with him.  #2 - doing so well (time wise) with my marathon training speed-work.  #3 - being able to go to the temple at the drop of a hat (and no reservation).  Dave's calling does have it's perks.  And because we got in, I met a girl that somehow knew me and asked me if I had a son pass away with CF.  We then got talking and she is 32 years and was just diagnosed with CF.  She has lived 32 years without even knowing or being sick. It gave me a lot of hope just knowing that everyone with it doesn't also get an early death sentence.

Lunch ~
What three things made you the saddest this week? #1 - that my friends went to Disneyland and I was unable to go.  #2 - sometimes relationships don't always go as we wish they would.  There's always one or two relationships that need extra work and patience.  #3 - that Mr. Cat likes Dave more than me!  hah

Dinner ~
What are some of your quirks (name at least 10) that most people don't know about? I have been sleeping with the fan on at night even though it's winter (can we say hot flashes?), I eat my hamburgers upside down, when I run I tend to drift towards traffic, I like to pop my gum, if I like something- I collect a lot of it, way more than I need...i.e. wrapping paper, dishes, etc., I curl my toes if I am barefoot in any bathroom, I don't like walking on the grass barefoot, my money (bills) have to be all lined up in order, all my cans in my pantry have to face front, I have to line every toilet seat with TP before using it (even my own!), I love to chew on ice, I like to clean around my stove with a toothpick (got that from my Grandma Mae).

Midnight Snack ~
Name a flattering moment this week and a not so flattering moment. For the flattering moment, I guess it would have been when I took Taylor out to lunch and when I got up to get a refill on our water I had to pass two tables full of men. I'm sure it was only because I was a female and the fact that I ended up in their view, but both tables watched me as I walked past and as I turned after getting the refill, they were all still starring, and then continued to as I walked back. I have to admit even though I know they would have done that with any female, for someone my age, it was flattering. The thought did cross my mind that maybe they were only starring because I was trailing a piece of toilet paper or something. Either way, I'll take it. hah  For the not so flattering moment, I was out to lunch with friends and as I was eating my salad, I got a humongous piece on my fork and instead of cutting it down I attempted to shove it all in my mouth and it wouldn't fit and so I looked like a total idiot and slob scarfing down my salad as half of it was hanging out while I tried to make room for the rest.

Recipe of the Week ~ (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?)Things aren't always as bad as they seem.  We are stronger than we think we are most of the time.  We just have to give ourselves a chance to prove that we are.  Sometimes you just have to take a deep breath and dive in with both feet.

You are a "Hottie"....the fan and stares proved it! :D I admire the dickens out of you!

The "hottie" is right....but only because I experience so many of those "hottie flashes" each day! That was probably why the stares...because I was having one right then and I looked like I was on fire! hah
Well either that or the trailing the TP is a possibility.
